The ‘Il Coccio’ Home Restaurant (envisioned and created by Cosimo Carriero) was born from a desire to share the authentic and vibrant flavors of Salento cuisine with the world.
It is a celebration of the exquisite tastes and vivid colors of a land that tirelessly yields its bounty, transformed by skilled hands into dishes rich in flavor and traditions deeply rooted in the territory and the seasons.
Our kitchen welcomes zero-kilometer produce from our own garden, select cuts of meat, and fresh catches from our local seas. Extra virgin olive oil and durum and soft wheat flours reign supreme in the preparation of fresh pasta, fragrant and aromatic bread, and traditional desserts. A family production, a fine glass of wine is always a cherished presence at our table.
